The Homestead Family Band now has a facebook page, so 'like us', and you'll hear more about what we're up to. We had our biggest gig yet, a well-paying and well-attended harvest festival at Powisset Farm. Many of our friends are CSA members here and it's a quick drive from the city, so when we jumped up on stage (also our first stage performance) we heard quite a lot of cheers from the crowd. This festival was a perfect setting for our music, lively and danceable for all ages. We played for a marathon four hours, pretty incredible since I was the only melody for three of those four hours. It was a scorcher too, so we played barefoot for our last set!
